Parenting
This course is designed for parents of children aged between 0 and 6 years old and runs over eight weeks. It includes topics such as Behaviour You Don't Like, Encouraging Your Child, Listening, Talking, Discipline, Quality Time and Spiritual Development (optional). A short DVD presentation introduces each topic. New skills are discussed and practiced, with time for discussion and sharing of ideas. The group size is usually between six and ten.
The group leaders have been trained by the Mothers Union and use resources produced by The Family Caring Trust.
