Baptisms and Thanksgivings

At St Mary's we offer both baptisms and services of thanksgiving for the birth of a child, usually held on the fourth Sunday of the month. We ask that both parents attend an information and preparation evening (generally the second Thursday of the month), so that you can choose which type of service best suits you. At this meeting we will agree a date and time with you.

If you choose a baptism, there will be certain requirements of godparents. We therefore advise you not to make any decisions about godparents before we have talked together.
